When singer Alon Eder reached out about photographing his wedding, I have to admit I only knew a little of his music and nothing about his partner Ortal being a dancer. As we got closer I began to learn about his well-known family history and their creative world. Ortal and Alon are a truly unique couple with a touch of rock-and-roll energy and a vibrant, high-intensity dynamic, which made their wedding one of the most fascinating I have ever captured. The celebration was filled with celebrated Israeli artists I admire and others I only recognized afterward, all genuine creators who grew from the right places. Live performances by David Broza, Yoni Bloch, Shlomi Shaban, and Alon’s parents Miki Kam and Yehuda Eder added to the magic. The evening was intimate, emotional, and full of style, with a dance floor alive with character.
