Israel AKA Jewish.giant is an American religious famous wedding photographer who came to Israel to photograph an Orthodox wedding. At first he contacted me and wanted us to work together but it didn't work out and then he contacted me with a special request for couple photoshoot at sunrise in the Dead Sea. It took him a few more seconds to explain to me that it was for him and his wife Shayna. They arrived in Israel and I picked them up from Jerusalem and we went down together to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. The conditions of the Dead Sea have made the area extreme, the route of the terrain changes every season and new holes are created so the view can be completely different if you come to visit it the next time. We discovered a wonderful world that was reserved only for us and made magics together. A photoshoot of other photographers is a little different, I explained to Israel that this time he needs to learn to let go and let me lead this day and that he should just enjoy himself with Shayna. Couple photoshoot of religious crowd are very special for me because the boundaries are different but as they explained to me, there is something very spiritual in the fact that there is no physical contact in all the pictures, so for me there were moments where I rediscovered what a connection between a couple can be.
