This wedding is incredibly close to my heart. For more than 13 years, I’ve been photographing and documenting the most meaningful events of two close friends I met during our university studies, and this time it was especially emotional: Adi, the sister of my dear friend Tal, married her soulmate Yael. Seeing two beautiful brides celebrating their love together is something that’s truly hard to put into words. Knowing the family personally, I already expected an unforgettable night, because this is the kind of family that turns every occasion into a joyful dance celebration, where everyone joins in with pure happiness and ease. It deeply moved me to hear that each of them took the time to propose to the other, separately and at different moments, and only after both proposals had happened did they decide it was time to officially get married and celebrate their love. As a wedding photographer, I felt honored to be there not only to capture the beauty, emotion, and energy of the day, but also to photograph people I genuinely care about.
